Each year for a limited time Vacaville Ice Sports, located at Davis Street, turns an ice-skating rink into a Winter Wonderland. A beautifully lit Christmas tree is centered on a “frozen pond”, and festive lights and pine trees surround skaters while holiday music sets the mood for a skating experience you won’t soon forget. It’s the quintessential way to relax and enjoy the holiday season with friends and family.

Even if the weather outside isn’t that cool you’ll want to bring a warm jacket, hat, and maybe even gloves and warm socks. It will be cold inside, but don’t fret, because they have a nice warm lobby for you when you need a bit of a warm-up!

There is a snack bar in the lobby, and of course, they always have hot chocolate to warm you up after skating! Don’t forget that nearby there are several nice dining options like Outback Steakhouse, Umi Sushi, Ike’s Love & Sandwiches, and Mary’s Pizza Shack, all within walking distance of the rink.

Make some memories this December and head to Vacaville Ice Sports. Winter Wonderland is open from December 13th through January 5th from am – pm and December 24, 31 & January 5th from ampm. They are closed on December 25th.

Cost: $15 per person for an all-day pass or you can get a 4 person family pass for $45, and rates include skate rentals.

Recital week in Vacaville Ice Sports

Coolest place in town!

“We have been figure skating for nine years, every day, and Vacaville Ice Sports is almost like a second home to us. We started with the Skating Academy classes where all the coaches are very helpful, and Donnarae, our Skating Director is amazing with kids. Julian was three years old and Dominic was two years old, and the Academy Classes helped them learn, besides skating, also discipline and social skills. We participated in numerous skating competitions and team productions, ice shows, world championships, great skating camps, and other events, where the kids had a wonderful time. Their performance record is a testimony in itself. We train every day, and the coaches are experienced and helpful. The results and skills progress are undeniable. We have won numerous competitions and Skater Award of the year at District 14 Championship. Christmastime at Vacaville Ice Rink is magic every year, with beautiful decorations and ‘Skate a Gift’ ice show giving us memories of a lifetime. This is a place where kids are learning skating and life skills, they make friends, and they are safe. We are proud to be part of Vacaville Ice Sports family skating community.”
