Not a good company

They will fire you for nothing they look out for themselves they don’t care about the employees period they lie to get you in the door and a whole nother ball game once in they don’t work with you

No home life

Georgia-Pacific at least at the Camden facility does not care for any of its employees there is no work /home life balance it's all about work it's all about production it's All about Numbers it's none thing about yourself or your home life, they expect you to work 24 hours a day verse ever going home they want too much and don't pay enough the benefits of horrendous the management is horrendous with no communication and it's a shame because I believe Georgia-Pacific in general is a good company but this facility Camden New Jersey is not I would not recommend this job to anyone

Non stop Overtime

They advertise 4 days on 4 days off but don't let them mislead you. At best you can count on getting 1 1/2 days off per week or worse 1/2 day off! If you value family time and or your time off forget this place at all costs.

Potential with the right people

This place is so disorganized. The turnover is horrendous and should be a red flag for poor management. They hire leaders from outside the organization or move them around from other locations so the same incompetence spreads to multiple places, sabotaging any potential success. They should be investing in the people who are already there and promote them. They are the ones who are actually invested in making this place better.

Not a bad place to work

I honestly liked working there. Pay was fair and the work wasn't hard.

Rotating schedule of 12hr shifts when they were open 24/7. Three on, two off, two on, three off; rinse and repeat. 36hrs one week and 48 the next. Overtime (as extra shifts) was optional. Paid every two weeks - that's 8hrs of overtime (don't accept less from any employer!).

Not sure what it's like now but at the time it was a decent paying factory job in a clean environment.
